Rabi’ul Thani 1448: Information regarding moonsighting will be provided on Saturday, 12th September 2026.
Rabi’ul Awwal 1448: The Hilāl has not been sighted anywhere in Australia. Therefore, the month of Rabīʿ al-Awwal will commence on Saturday, 15th August 2026.
Safar 1448: The Hilāl has been sighted in Sydney, Canberra and Queensland. Therefore, the month of Ṣafar will commence on Thursday, 16th July 2026.

Qubaa Association of Western Sydney Incorporated is an independent non-profit organisation established under the guidance of Dr. Shabbir Ahmed, who is a very well known public figure amongst the Muslim community, particularly in Western Sydney. Dr Shabbir Ahmed has dedicated more than 32 years of his life to serve the Muslims of Australia.
